In this guide, you’ll learn how to import an existing Clueso video into your current project—allowing you to merge multiple videos into a single project.

Choose an insertion point

Hover over the timestamp where you want to insert the other project.download (49).png

Split your video

Click on the hovered timestamp, then select Split.download (50).png

Add a new clip

After splitting, click Add Clip at that point in your timeline.download (51).png

Import project

In the clip options, choose Import Project.download (52).png

Select and import

From the project list, select the one you want to import, then click Import.download (53).png
After a few moments, the imported project will appear in your timeline—complete with all its clips, effects, and script. 🎉 You’ve now successfully combined two projects into one in Clueso.

FAQs

No. Only the video clips, effects, and script from the selected project are imported. The article associated with that project does not get merged into your current project.
No. Importing adds the other project’s clips into your timeline at the chosen point. Your existing clips and edits remain unchanged.
Yes. You can repeat the process to import as many projects as you need into your current project.
Yes. Once imported, the new clips behave just like any other clips in your project. You can move, edit, or delete them as needed.
