Here are a few pointers to keep in mind to get the best outputs with Clueso when you’re making a screen recording.

Verbally explain what you do on screen

When you record your video, explain everything you do as if you were telling someone who cannot see your screen. You don’t have to explain where certain buttons are, but make sure to describe what you do as you do it. For example, if you’re clicking on the Share button
  • you don’t have to say ‘Click on the button labelled Share located in the top right corner of the screen’.
  • you should say ‘Click on the Share button’ instead of saying nothing.

Be mindful of clicks

Clueso will automatically capture a screenshot based on your clicks. Avoid clicking around unnecessarily in your video.

Focus on the visuals

You have full control of the audio script post recording. However, the base recording is the same as what you record. So, while it’s totally ok if you ramble/stutter while recording, ensure you’re somewhat precise with cursor movements and that the flow of your video is correct from a visual perspective.
