Any time you edit your script or adjust sync points, you’ll need to regenerate the voiceover so your changes are reflected in the audio. When generating speech in Clueso, you have two options:
  • Global (all clips): Best when you’ve made multiple changes across your script or adjusted sync points throughout the video. This ensures the entire voiceover is regenerated so everything stays in sync.
  • Clip-specific: Ideal when you only want to update a single clip—for example, if you’re testing out different voices, or you’ve only edited the script in one small section. This saves time since only that clip’s audio is regenerated.

Generating speech for all clips

Whenever you make changes in your script (either to text or to sync points), you need to click on Generate Speech to regenerate the voiceover to speak out those changes. When you click the global Generate Speech button, Clueso will regenerate all clips that have updated. Updated clips will have text and sync points highlighted in yellow, making it easy for you to see what’s new. In case no clips have any changes, clicking on Generate Speech will prompt you if you want to regenerate the entire video’s script from scratch.
Remember: Changes to text and sync points require you to regenerate speech.

Generating speech for a single clip

Sometimes you may only want to update one clip — for example, if you’re testing different voices, or editing just a small part of the script. In that case, you can generate speech for a single clip instead of the whole video. In this case, click the three dots button on the clip you want to update. In the dropdown menu, click Generate Speech. Clueso will create the new AI voiceover for that clip only, without affecting the rest of the video. download (40).png
