Best practices for writing prompts
To get the best results from Prompt Hub, keep these tips in mind:- Be specific what you want the script to sound like, in terms of style of script, tone, and narrative style. Clearly state how the script should behave instead of using vague instructions
-
Write prompts the way you’d explain something in detail to a teammate
Simple, natural and structured language works better than overly formal phrasing. -
Focus on consistent rules
Prompt Hub works best for instructions you want reused across multiple scripts. -
Avoid mixing too many goals into one prompt
If you need different behaviors, create separate prompts for each use case.
