Animating images helps draw attention to key visuals and makes your videos feel more alive. Add an entry animation to introduce an image, an exit animation to remove it, or both.
1

Open the Animation tab

Select the image you want to animate, then click the Animation tab in the right panel. You’ll see two sections — Enter and Exit — each with a + button to add an animation.Animation tab
2

Choose an animation preset

Click the + button next to Enter (or Exit) and pick a preset:
  • Fade — fades the image in or out
  • Slide — slides the image onto or off the screen from any direction
  • Scale — scales the image up on entry or down on exit
  • Pop — bounces the image in or out
  • Masked Reveal — wipes the image in or out behind a mask Animation presets
3

Fine-tune the animation

Once a preset is selected, the section expands to show its controls:
  • Duration — how long the animation lasts (in seconds)
  • Direction — which way the image enters or exits the screen (Slide only)
A small preview appears at the top of the panel so you can see the animation as you adjust it. Click Reset to default at any time to revert your changes.Slide animation controls
You can configure Enter and Exit independently — for example, you might fade an image in but slide it off to the side when it leaves.
