# Update extension

> Manually update your Clueso chrome extension to the latest version

Keeping your Clueso Chrome extension up to date ensures you always have the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes. Updates are usually automatic, but if you want to make sure you’re on the latest version (or force an update right away), you can follow these steps:

  <Step title="Open the extensions page">
    In your browser, type **chrome://extensions** in the address bar and hit Enter.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enable Developer Mode">
    On the top-right corner of the page, turn on **Developer Mode**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update your extensions">
    Click on the **Update** button. Chrome will refresh all your extensions, including Clueso, to their latest versions.
