# Upload a video

> Create a Clueso project by uploading a screen recording

This guide explains how to create a **Clueso project** by uploading an existing screen recording or video file.

    On the [home screen](https://web.clueso.io), click **Upload a video**.

  <Step title="Select input language">
    Choose the **input language** of the recording. This ensures that Clueso
    transcribes and processes your video accurately.

  <Step title="Choose your file">
    Click **Upload** and select the video file from your computer. Supported
    formats include MP4 and other common video file types.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm upload">
    Click the input area or drop in the file you want to upload.\
    Clueso will begin preparing your video automatically.
  </Step>

Next, Clueso processes your video and generates the first draft of your project.

You can then edit the video and article just like any project created through Clueso’s screen recorder.

  When you upload a video, instead of using the chrome extensino, Clueso does not add zooms. Otherwise all same.
