# Auto-split long videos

> Generate bite-sized video clips from long recordings using Clueso Cuts.

Long videos don’t always have to stay long. With **Clueso Cuts**, you can automatically split a lengthy recording into short, shareable highlight clips — perfect for turning webinars, training sessions, or product demos into quick takeaways.

This guide walks you through the simple steps to upload, process, review, and organize your video clips.

## Steps to create cuts

    From the [home screen](https://web.clueso.io), click on **Cuts** and upload the video you want to split.

      Clueso Cuts works best with videos longer than **10 minutes**.

  <Step title="Generate Clueso Cuts">
    When prompted, select **Yes** to generate cuts.\
    Clueso will automatically analyze your video and detect key moments.

    After a few minutes, you’ll see a list of smaller auto-generated clips, and you’ll also receive an email with a link to the folder containing them.

  <Step title="Review and edit highlight clips">
    All Clueso Cuts will appear in the right-hand panel. - Select each cut to
    preview it - Adjust durations if needed to fine-tune your highlights
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finalize and access clips">
    Click **Confirm** to let Clueso organize your chosen clips in a dedicated folder.

    Processing the finalized folder may take **30–60 minutes**, but you’re free to work on other projects while it completes.

    Once ready, you can access all your highlight clips directly from the provided folder link.
