# Create a project

> Learn the different ways to start a new project in Clueso.

When you open the [home screen](https://web.clueso.io), you'll see multiple ways to create a project on Clueso.

You can start a project by bringing in existing material:

    Trigger a screen recording directly from Clueso.

    Import a video file you already have, and Clueso will transform it into a polished, professional video.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Upload slide decks" icon="file">
    Upload multiple PDFs or PPTX files in one go. Clueso will automatically turn them into a video presentation.

  To record your screen, make sure you have the Clueso Chrome extension installed. If not, follow [this tutorial](/screen-recording/installation.mdx).

<Tip>
  No matter which method you choose, always set the **input language** of the
  file you upload or the recording you capture. This helps Clueso process your
  content accurately.

You can also start fresh with a blank project:

1. Click on **New Project**.
2. Select **Start blank project**.

This option gives you a clean slate to build your video from scratch using Clueso's editor.
